WOW DRAENEI: GOLIATH GREATSWORD

For this project I wanted to focus on realism and proportions. Looking at my reference image I noticed the glowing orange orb was about the same size as her head. In that respect that means that the sword is huge. After much thought, making a weapon that big didn't make sense to me. So I proportioned the greatsword to be realistic for use.

The guts of the Greatsword

The sword is made of high density green foam that I grinded so the edge would have a bevel. Using a dremel tool I carved out the spell embedded on the sword. inside the sword are the battery packs and wiring for the LED lights, while leaving the on/off switch available.
