Indiana Repertory Theatre

I worked sewing in the costume shop doing custom tailoring, alterations, and various types of hand sewing. Working alongside the head drapers, first hand stitchers, and costume shop manager, I was able to accomplish the designer's goals for the upcoming show. When sewing I would sew on new trim and new pattern pieces. In addition to that I would also do various machine sewing, for example: putting in buttonholes and sewing in growth tucks. I also did various hand sewing: stitching on buttons, whip stitching, herringbone stitching, and chain stitching.
